Introducing ❤️ Save Otisco Lake

An initiative of the Otisco Lake Preservation Association to reduce the growth and spread of weeds within the lake.

GOAL

To restore Otisco Lake’s fresh water, natural, and public resource conditions to a state of optimal balance within the lake between the competing invasive weeds and those of the native habitat.

ACCOMPLISHED BY

  • Addressing conditions external to the lake which foster the introduction, spread and growth of aquatic vegetation and other conditions likely to threaten long term viability of the lake

  • Addressing the existing growth and spread of aquatic vegetation within the lake with particular focus on invasive species

INITIATIVES

Develop a Plan

with the assistance of knowledgeable experts to address the proliferation of Aquatic vegetation within the lake
