Your support is greatly appreciated: In 2024, with the assistance of the county and YOUR efforts, we were able to use the funds towards expenses that improved lake quality, weed eradication and other projects that enhanced the health of Otisco Lake. Here are some of the initiatives:

Purchase and maintain the NEW weed harvestor: With County assistance, the OLPA was able to purchase a harvestor that will be used to control the growth of invasive weeds in the lake.

Water Quality Monitoring and Research: Your contribution supports critical efforts to study and monitor HABs and other threats to the lake, helping to advance the understanding of long-term solutions.

Lake Stewardship and Environmental Education Program: An engaged and educated community can help drive change. Through programs for both adults and students, we empower the community to adopt lake-friendly practices that reduce pollution and minimize runoff

Advocacy for Lake Protection: We are dedicated to strengthening local and regional partnerships to influence policies that prioritize the health of Otisco Lake.
